唉我太粗心了英語作文

　　昨天晚上，我?guī)蛬寢屨麴z頭。過了一會兒，爸爸問我：你放了多少水呀?水?噢，天哪!我忘了放了!我回答說。什么?你忘了?!爸爸驚叫一聲跑進廚房，關(guān)掉煤氣，迅速將那口快燒焦的鍋放進水里冷卻。幸好沒有發(fā)生危險。如果我來遲一步，就會發(fā)生火災(zāi)了。爸爸說。而我呆呆地站在那里，嚇得一句話也說不出。

　　Last night, I helped my mother steam buns. After a moment, father asked me, How much water did you put in the pot? Water? Oh, my! I forgot the water! I answered. What? You forgot?! Father screamed into the kitchen, turned off the gas, and hurriedly put the nearly burnt pot into water to cool down. Thank God that nothing happened. It would have been on fire if I hadnt noticed it in time. Father said. But I just stood there, too scared to say anything.
