親愛的大衛(wèi)，

　　I’m writing this letter to express my sincerelyappologies to you for losing the book you lent to me. I’m very appreciated youlent it to me. In order to give it back to you as soon as possible, I took itto the library yesterday. I also borrow some other books in the library before Ileft. Unluckily, when I arrived at my dormitory, I couldn’t find your book. I searched all my dormitory and the road fromthe dormitory to the library. The next day I also looked for the library. However,I couldn’t find your book. I’m sorry I can’t give back to you on time as I promisedbefore. But I will buy a new one for you later.Hope you can accept my appologies.

　　我寫這封信是為了表達(dá)我對(duì)弄丟了你借給我的書的真誠(chéng)的歉意。我很感激你把書借給我。為了能夠盡快把書還給你，我昨天把它帶到圖書館去看了。在我離開圖書館之前我也借了幾本圖書館的書。很不幸的'是，我回到宿舍后發(fā)現(xiàn)你的書不見了。我把宿舍，宿舍到圖書館的路都找遍了。 第二天我也去圖書館找了�？墒�，我就死找不到你的書。我很抱歉不能遵守之前的承諾按時(shí)把書還給你。但是我后面會(huì)幫你買一本新的。希望你能接受我的道歉。
