　　It is a common phenomenon that a great number of people are tending to keep pets at home. People worry whether keeping pets at home are good for people. Some people say that pets can bring us happiness and help us in some special cases. However, some people believe that keeping pet is a waste of time and money. As for me, I think pets bring us happiness. Reasons are listed below.

　　現(xiàn)在，人們在家中養(yǎng)寵物的現(xiàn)象很普遍。人們擔(dān)心到底在家養(yǎng)寵物好不好。一些人認(rèn)為在家養(yǎng)寵物可以帶給我們快樂，并且在某些特殊情況下可以幫助我們。但是，一些人認(rèn)為養(yǎng)寵物會浪費(fèi)時間和金錢。就我來說，我認(rèn)為養(yǎng)寵物能帶給我們快樂。原因如下：

　　First of all, we won’t feel so lonely if we keep pets. For most people, they are working outside while they don’t have any companions by their side. Hence, if they raise pets, then they can play with pets rather than stay alone. Besides, most people deem pets as their best friends. When people feel depressed, then they can talk to their pets to relieve themselves.

　　首先，我們養(yǎng)寵物不會感到孤單。許多人都在外面工作，沒有同伴在身邊。但是，如果養(yǎng)寵物的話，他們就不會自己呆著，而是有寵物相伴。而且，人們也會把寵物視為自己的好朋友，當(dāng)感覺到難過的時候，寵物不會讓他們太難過。

　　Secondly, pets can help us in some special cases. You can ask your pets to do certain things for you to some extent. For example, we have many trained dogs that can guide the blind people to anywhere they want as if those dogs are their eyes.

　　第二，在一些特殊情況下，寵物可以幫助我們。在一定情況下，你能讓你的寵物幫你做一些事情。例如，盲人會有導(dǎo)盲犬，像是盲人的眼睛一樣，導(dǎo)盲犬可以帶他們到任何他們想去的'地方。

　　All in all, keeping pets at home benefits us a lot. When we are depressed, pets can make us happy. What’s more, pets can help us in certain situations.

　　總之，在家養(yǎng)寵物能讓我們獲益良多。當(dāng)我們郁悶的時候，寵物能讓我們開心起來。而且，寵物在某些情況下能幫助我們。

In their opinion if too many people keep pets at home, it"s bad for the environment. What is worse, pets may make too much noise and even attack people.

　　I like animals, so I don"t think it"s bad to keep pets at home. But we must take some measures to prevent them from polluting our environment.

　　Firstly， plants are less energy—consuming than pets， which need to be fed several times a day， and some of which need to be walked early in the morning。 But for plants， regular watering and fertilizing will do， provided they are placed in appropriate places with proper sunshine。 However， pets need constant care and training so as to form good habits， or they may go wild。 As to plants， no such worries are involved。

　　第一，植物比寵物省勁，寵物需要一天喂幾次，有些還要早早地帶出去散步。但是植物，只要按時澆水，施肥就行了，把它們放在合適的地方，曬點太陽就成了。然而，寵物需要不間斷的照顧還有訓(xùn)練好習(xí)慣，不然它們就會很野。對于植物，這些都不用擔(dān)心。

　　Secondly， plants consume less money than pets。 You have to spend a considerable amount of money buying pet food， toys and other accessories。 Some people even compare that sum of money to the expenses of raising a child。 When pets fall ill， they need to be sent to the special hospital for pets， which are also quite expensive。 In this sense， plants are very economical to grow in terms of the same purpose of producing joy and beauty to people’s daily life。

　　第二，植物比寵物更省錢。你需要花大量的錢買寵物食物，玩具還有其他東西。有些人甚至把養(yǎng)寵物畫的錢和養(yǎng)小孩相比。當(dāng)寵物生病的時候，它們還需要送去特地為寵物設(shè)置的醫(yī)院，那相當(dāng)?shù)陌嘿F。就這個意義上來講，植物是非常經(jīng)濟(jì)型的，它們一樣能夠滿足人們?nèi)粘Ｉ�活的樂趣和審美�?/p>

　　All in all， plants make better enjoyment than pets， since they are easier to handle， less expensive and troublesome。 Take the above reasons into account， the next time you think of raising something for fun， plants should be a better choice， unless you have too much free time to kill。
