　　Dream and Reality

　　When we are children, there arelots of people ask about our dreams, and our answers most are doctors, policemen,teachers etc. But when we grow up, we have to face the reality, not everyonewould realize childhood dreams, and some of these dreams even are unrealistic whichwill never be able to achieve. Therefore, we need correctly treat therelationship between dream and reality.

　　在我們小時(shí)候，會(huì)有很多人問我們的夢想是什么，醫(yī)生，警察，老師等很多職業(yè)都是我們口中的夢想。但是當(dāng)我們長大后，都必須面對現(xiàn)實(shí)，并不是每個(gè)人都能實(shí)現(xiàn)小時(shí)候的夢想。有些夢想都不切實(shí)際，并永遠(yuǎn)無法實(shí)現(xiàn)，所以我們應(yīng)該正確看待夢想和現(xiàn)實(shí)的關(guān)系。

　　First of all, dream is thespiritual power to encourage people progress. Napoleon once said: “He is a badsoldier who doesn't dream of becoming a general”. In the process of growing up,we must want to give up our purpose when encounter difficulties, and at the moment,dreams would be the power for us to insist on.

　　首先，夢想是鼓勵(lì)人進(jìn)步的精神動(dòng)力。拿破侖曾說過，不想當(dāng)將軍的士兵不是好士兵。在成長的過程中，我們一定會(huì)遇到因?yàn)槔щy而放棄目標(biāo)的情況，但是這時(shí)夢想就是我們堅(jiān)持的動(dòng)力。

　　Second, reality is areflection of the real environment. Many people think dream is heaven, and realityis hell, but in my opinion, reality is a double-edged sword which makes us keepa sense of crisis. When young people addicted to the unpractical dreams,reality would awaken them which would avoid them make wrong judgment.

　　其次，現(xiàn)實(shí)是真實(shí)環(huán)境的反射。很多人都認(rèn)為夢想是天堂，現(xiàn)實(shí)是地獄，但無法避免�，F(xiàn)實(shí)就是面雙刃劍，可以讓人時(shí)刻保持危機(jī)感。在年輕人沉迷于夢想的時(shí)候敲醒他們，以致他們不會(huì)錯(cuò)處錯(cuò)誤的判斷。

　　In my opinion, both dream andreality are important, young people can't ignore one of them. The most criticalthing in life is using positive attitude to face the constantly changingsociety, and strive to cultivate interests, which will be easier to succeed.

　　夢想和現(xiàn)實(shí)都很重要，年輕人不能忽略其中一個(gè)。但是我認(rèn)為，人生最關(guān)鍵的'是要以積極的心態(tài)面對這個(gè)不斷變化著的社會(huì)，努力培養(yǎng)自己的興趣、這樣才比較容易成功。

　　My mother’s dream was always to be a prima ballerina.

　　No matter how hard she had trained her most important and formative years had passed and could not be recaptured. The war had been tough on her, and poor nutrition had impaired some of her muscular growth and development. Besides, she was too tall for any male dancer of the era. My mother simply couldn’t compete with the other dancers who had received proper training as well as proper sustenance during the war years. The war had stolen her dream. She remembered going back to her room that day and “just wanting to die.” The dream that had kept her hope alive all those years had just vanished.

　　赫本的夢想

　　我母親的夢想一直是成為首席芭蕾舞女演員。
