Let’s make a wonderful program to help these children live a normal life. I think we should call on (呼吁) ending the war. We support these poor child laborers by raising money. Compared with cars, bicycles have many advantages. Firstly, they are not so expensive as cars and almost every family can afford to buy and repair them. Secondly, riding bicycle is a healthy form of exercise. They do good to our health. Thirdly, bicycles can save energy and does not cause any pollution, while cars will cause serious air pollution, which makes the air in our living place very dirty and makes a lot of people suffer from lung cancer. As we all know, China is a country with a large population. Ifeach family has a car, a large amount of energy would be wasted and air pollution would become more and more serious. Finally, most Chinese people don’ t live far away from where they work or study, it is convenient to ride bicycles. I think that is why bicycles are used so much.
Bicycles are so popular in China that China is often referred to as the kingdom of bicycles. I hope more and more people can ride bicycles in order to make our planet better and cleaner.

The Chinese Dragon Boat Festival is a significant (有意義的)holiday celebrated (慶祝)in China, and the one with the longest history (歷史最悠久). The Dragon Boat Festival is celebrated by boat races (龍舟賽) in the shape of dragons. Competing teams (競(jìng)爭(zhēng)團(tuán)隊(duì)) row their boats forward to a drumbeat (擊古)racing to reach the finish end first.
The boat races during the Dragon Boat Festival are traditional customs (傳統(tǒng)習(xí)俗)to attempts to (試圖)rescue (搭救) the patriotic poet (愛(ài)國(guó)詩(shī)人)Chu Yuan. Chu Yuan drowned (溺死) on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month in 277 B.C. Chinese citizens now throw bamboo leaves (竹葉) filled with cooked rice into the water. Therefore the fish could eat the rice rather than the hero poet. This later on turned into the custom of eating tzungtzu and rice dumplings(棕子).

Today is a fine day. When I was going down the stairs and going to have breakfast. I suddenly saw two strings of red peppers on both sides of the living room and a big Chinese knot on the wall above the sofa. To my surprise, there were also four small lanterns hung on the top of the balcony. “ Strange! In the past years, we never decorated our house during the Spring Festival.” I said to myself. “but this year….” At the moment, the telephone rang.
I quickly picked up the phone. That’s mum. She said that they decorated the house this morning before they went to work. And she told me that almost everyone in her company decorated their houses, even her company was decorated as well. How interesting that is! After breakfast, I went to the balcony, breeze blew to my face. It was gentle and warm. The four small lanterns swang, too, like smiling to the wind. How lovely! With these nice decorations， I think the Spring Festival will be more interesting and colourful!
