已經(jīng)6月了，那7、8月的暑假還會遠么。既然假期快到了，我們還是緊跟時髦，趕緊來學(xué)一些跟假期有關(guān)的英語詞匯短語吧。
或許你會覺得holiday這么簡單有什么好學(xué)的?其實越簡單越容易讓你掉以輕心。就最基本的來說，你知道a holiday和two holidays分別是什么意思嗎?
“一天假期和兩天假期的意思?”
這么想就錯了。a holiday并非a day，因為holiday的意思是一段時間的假期，并非是一天假期。就算假期持續(xù)2天，也算作a holiday。

更進一步說，two holidays并不是指“兩天假期”，而是“兩次假期”的意思。還有，holidays除了是復(fù)數(shù)之外，還被用來表示持續(xù)很久的長假(如暑假)。
