1. I dont seem to fit.
fit是指「合適」之意，這句話的意思就是「我跟這里格格不入�！怪狻ＭǔＲ矔f成I don’t seem to fit in.當你覺得某個地方或場合，和你犯沖，待在那里就是讓你渾身不對勁時，你就可以說：I don’t seem to fit in.
2. Youre well on the way.
如果說way是指一段路途的話，那么be well on the way就是指在這段路途上很順遂，有著好的開始。用be well on the way這個句型用來形容一個人學習的路途，就是指他「有慧根，悟性高」。
3. I dont mean to be rude, but...
rude這個字是指「言行舉止粗魯?shù)摹�，而I dont mean to...這個句型是指「我不是故意要……，我無意……」。I dont mean to be rude, but...「我無意冒犯，但是……」這個句型的使用時機是，當你知道自己說的話可能會傷到人，可是你又想要追問，當然這也可以只是你在損人之前所用的的借口。
4. Youre out of your mind.
mind是指「心智狀態(tài)，神智」，be out of...是指「沒有了…?，用完了……」，be out of ones mind的`意思就是「（某人）喪失神智」，也就是「（某人）發(fā)瘋」的意思。當你覺得有人做了非一般正常人會做的事，你就可以對他說Youre out of your mind.。當然這可以指暫時喪失神智，也可能是真的發(fā)了瘋。
5. I wouldnt look at it like that.
「每一件事都有兩面�！筎here are two sides of a story.而對于同一件事的看法，每個人或許都不盡相同。下次當有人所提出的看法，你自己不能茍同之時，就可以用上這句話I wouldnt look at it like that.「我不會用這個角度來看�！挂员硎咀约簩τ谕患�，持有不同的意見。
6. Its all there for a reason.

8. give this to you (real) straight
這句話的意思就是前一陣子政壇上最流行的一句話「講清楚，說明白」，在美語中，give this to you straight最常用在男女朋友分手，好說歹說都沒用時，逼不得已只好打開天窗說亮話：Im gonna give this to you straight. I do not love you at all.
9. pain in the ass
這個句型雖然有點不雅，但是各位看官一定都記憶猶新，在各大電影、電視影集里都曾出現(xiàn)過，就字面上的意思不難了解，就是中文里「眼中釘、肉中刺」的意思。想想看，屁股里的痛（可能是指痔瘡吧），抓也抓不到，摸也摸不著，是不是讓人很難受，很痛苦呢？形容的還真是傳神！
10. I know what it takes to...
take這里是做「花時間」解釋，引申為「付出代價」的意思。當你花時間，投注精力下去，相對地會有代價發(fā)生。所以I know what it takes.便是說「我知道那代價是什么。
