用英語說我想要某物
找別人要求要某物是我們常會發(fā)生的對話。但是你知道用英語如何得體表達(dá)嗎?下面我們來玩轉(zhuǎn)英語要某物。

如果你知道或者看見某人擁有某物，可以用could或may來進(jìn)行禮貌地提問。在一些非正式場合中，也可以用can。在過去，在要求獲得某物的時候并不會用到can，它只會在表示能力時才使用。在英國，劍橋大學(xué)出版的英語教學(xué)材料中，就用到了can you lend me(你能借給我)、can I have(我能••••••)等句型。在美國，這種形式仍被認(rèn)為是錯誤的，人們更傾向于使用May I have…(我能•••••••)。
It's common to ask for things using yes / no polite phrases with 'Could you ...' and verbs such as 'lend', 'hand' and 'give'.

關(guān)于can的句型(注意：這種表達(dá)并不是全世界通用，僅限于英國)

Can you lend me that / some ...., please? etc.
你能借給我那個/一些••••••嗎?
不要用please來作為句子的開頭，但是你可以在句尾加上please來表示禮貌。
NOT: Please give me a pen.
錯誤：請給我一支鋼筆。
Correct: Could you give me a pen, please?
正確：能請你給我一支鋼筆嗎?

You can also ask for things using 'Could I ...' with verbs such as 'borrow', 'have', and 'use'.

Indirect Questions - Even More Polite
間接提問——更加禮貌
我們也可以通過間接地提問來向別人要求某物，從而顯得更加禮貌。間接提問經(jīng)常會用在正式場合或與陌生人說話時用到。它們在語法上的難度也更高一些。間接提問會使用Do you think…(你認(rèn)為)I wonder……(我想知道)和Would it be alright if ...(如果•••••••可以嗎)等短語。
