　　To be honest, this promotion came as quite asurprise. I'd like to think it's mainly a recognition ofthe teamwork, above and beyond the call of duty, inmy department.

　　On that same note, I'd like to thank all my colleaguesin the company for their enthusiasm and hard work.Due to their efforts, we've really gotten some overseas projects off the ground for Action.

　　Looking to the future, I'd still like to maintain contact with everyone, even though I'll beworking at the senior level. Well, what I'm trying to say is I won't let this step-up go to myhead. My door will always be open. Thank you again.

　　2. Truthfully, this promotion came as quite a surprise.

　　3. In all honesty, it was quite a surprise for me to get this promotion.

　　本段重點在于表示自己完全未曾預期升遷的謙虛心理。"to be honest"、"truthfully"或"in all honesty"是強調(diào)你說的都是'真心話'。"quite a surprise"，則是說'十分令人意外的驚喜'。

　　最后一段應再度表示自己的謙虛與對未來的承諾：決不因而自傲。"What I'm trying to say…"是一種強調(diào)口氣的說法。
