篇一
Starting a Business 創(chuàng)業(yè)
A: I'm going to quit school.
我要離開學校了。
B: I don't recommend that.
我不建議你這樣做。
A: Don't worry. I'm going to start a business.
別擔心。我將要開始創(chuàng)辦一個企業(yè)。
B: What kind of business?
什么樣的企業(yè)?
A: I'm going to make a robot that does chores.
我要做一個做家務的.機器人。
B: Have you made the robot yet?

A: No, but I'm starting to.

B: If you do manage to complete it, it would sell well.

David Runs a Marathon 大衛(wèi)跑馬拉松
David ran a marathon. He could not believe it. It was a big achievement. Running a marathon is not easy. David had to train all year long. David woke up every morning. He would put on his running shoes, drink a lot of water, and run out the door. David ran for hours. He stopped only when he finished. David ran again at night. He had a lot of energy. He never got tired. Running a marathon took a long time. David ran 26 miles and 385 yards. It took 5 hours and 30 minutes to finish. David was exhausted when he finished. He was really thirst. He drank a gallon of water. He was still thirsty. David was happy. Running a marathon had been his wish. He could not wait to run it again next year.
大衛(wèi)跑了一場馬拉松，他無法相信，這是一個偉大的成就，跑馬拉松是一件很不容易的事情。大衛(wèi)為了比賽不得不訓練了一整年的時間，每天早上醒來，他會穿上他的運動鞋，喝大量的`水，之后跑出大門，大衛(wèi)需要跑好幾個小時。他結束運動時，停止跑步。晚上大衛(wèi)又開始跑，他有很多的能量，從來沒有感覺累過，他跑馬拉松跑了很長時間，跑了26英里，385碼，用了5個小時30分鐘的時間。大衛(wèi)跑完馬拉松比賽時，已經感到筋疲力盡了。他真的很渴，喝了一加侖的水，還是很渴。不過戴維很高興，跑馬拉松是他的心愿，他迫不及待地想要明年再來參加馬拉松比賽。
