　　"These arent even that good. I think I could do better." Thats one of the reasons I started writing. Because I was reading other articles and that thought came to mind. Ive even thought that about books. Famous books. Brilliant books.

　　“這些都不夠好，我覺著自己能做得更好。”這就是我開始寫作的原因之一，因?yàn)槲易x別人的文章時(shí)就有了那樣的想法。我甚至對書也有過那樣的想法，包括名著和經(jīng)典著作。

　　Thats my ego.

　　這就是我的自我價(jià)值感。

　　And Im grateful for it.

　　而且我很感激這種自我價(jià)值感。

　　Because I never wouldve started writing without it. I never wouldve found something I love to do without it. I never wouldve been able to quit my 9-5 without it.

　　因?yàn)橐�不是自我價(jià)值感，我絕不會(huì)開始寫作，絕不會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)自己喜愛的事，絕不會(huì)放棄朝九晚五的生活。

　　Sometimes I get too caught up in it. Ill let other peoples accomplishments get inside me and make me feel bad. I become jealous. I become resentful.

　　有時(shí)我太過于深陷其中，心里會(huì)一直想著別人的成就從而產(chǎn)生對自己的不滿，我開始嫉妒、開始憤恨。

　　I let myself be tricked into think Im not good enough, or doing enough, or being enough. Thats when my ego becomes unhelpful.

　　I dont think having an ego is good or bad.

　　1. Stop feeling like you should have all the answers

　　1、不要再覺得你應(yīng)該無所不知

　　Uncertainty is the way things are, and trying to fight is like trying to fight an angry bear with a wet fish. It’ll just leave you exhausted, scared and broken. So relax a little. Understand that uncertainty is natural, and know that doing your best is plenty good enough as a response.

　　事情就是不確定的，企圖斗爭好比和一頭怒熊抗衡、爭奪鮮魚。你只會(huì)精疲力竭、擔(dān)驚受怕、身心俱碎。放松一點(diǎn)，明白世事無常乃常態(tài)。要知道，盡最大努力這種做法本身就是不錯(cuò)的回應(yīng)。

　　2. Prioritise play over success

　　Extrinsic success is easy, cheap even. So its through play—through engaging with the things that make you feel joy or connected and experience more success than fitting in with expectations will ever give you.

　　外在的成功來得容易、甚至可以說來得廉價(jià)。所以說，是通過游戲競爭、去參與你覺得開心和能帶動(dòng)你的事情， 去體驗(yàn)更多的成功，而不是去迎合外界帶給你的期冀。

　　3. Stop comparing

　　Today, every time you compare yourself to someone else, you threaten to undermine your self and your efficacy, or inflate your ego. Comparison is irrelevant. The only thing thats relevant is your ability to approach a decision.

　　如今，每次你與他人相較，你就有貶低自己、削弱自己效益的風(fēng)險(xiǎn)，甚至有自我膨脹的危險(xiǎn)。比較無甚相關(guān)，唯一相關(guān)的是你做決策的能力。
