一、課程性質(zhì)、目的和任務(wù)
1. 本課程為專業(yè)英語(yǔ)本科生必修的一門英語(yǔ)基礎(chǔ)課程。
2. 通過(guò)培養(yǎng)學(xué)生掌握一定的閱讀技巧提高學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)的層次,擴(kuò)大英語(yǔ)詞匯,獲取一定的英語(yǔ)國(guó)家文化知識(shí)和其他有益信息，為英語(yǔ)其他技能的掌握打下良好的基礎(chǔ)。
本課程是針對(duì)英語(yǔ)基本技能中的閱讀技能而開(kāi)設(shè),目的是為了提高學(xué)生的綜合閱讀能力,能夠讀懂一定難度的英語(yǔ)文章,通過(guò)學(xué)習(xí),學(xué)生能夠掌握一般的閱讀技巧。
二、教學(xué)內(nèi)容及要求
1.根據(jù)課本內(nèi)容，獲取一定的知識(shí)。
2.通過(guò)閱讀，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的閱讀效率，并增加一些相關(guān)詞匯。
3.本課程共128個(gè)學(xué)時(shí)，兩學(xué)年完成;教材分為四冊(cè)，每學(xué)期一冊(cè)

一、基本內(nèi)容：本冊(cè)含蓋了關(guān)于英語(yǔ)文化、科普知識(shí)、故事小說(shuō)等基本內(nèi)容，通過(guò)本冊(cè)的閱讀可以打開(kāi)眼界，豐富學(xué)生的知識(shí)。
