　　Todd: You said you like classical music very much. Then who is your favorite opera star?

　　May: There are three of them, the Three Tenors.

　　Todd: Oh, you mean Pavarotti, Domingo and Carreras. Have you been to their live shows?

　　May: Yeah, it's really a unique experience. It's a solo concert by Pavarotti. He put on the performance in the Forbidden City in Beijing.

　　Todd: I've heard of that one. It was also his swan song.

　　May: Besides, speaking of classical music, we should never forget about the New Year's Concert.

　　Todd: Of course not. People all over the world watch it on TV, or listen to it on the radio.

　　Todd: Lorin Maazel. He did an amazing job. Moreover, he just celebrated his 75th birthday.

　　May: So cool. I wish I can go to the live New Year's Concert someday in the future.

　　Todd: The right opportunity for you wouldcome along soon. You know, music is transnational.

　　May: I believe in that. Well, the performance is about to begin. Let's be quiet.

　　托德：我聽說過那場(chǎng)演出，那是他的告別演唱會(huì)。

　　阿美：另外，談到古典音樂，我們就不能不提維也納新年音樂會(huì)。

　　托德：那是當(dāng)然。全世界的人們都通過電視或者收音機(jī)欣賞它。

　　阿美：是啊。它毫無疑問是最隆重的古典音樂盛典之一。你看過現(xiàn)場(chǎng)演出嗎?

　　托德：是的，我參加了2005年的新年音樂會(huì)。

　　阿美：哇，你太幸運(yùn)了。我是在電視上看的。但是到音樂廳欣賞一定很不一樣。

　　托德：那是肯定的'。你知道，到最棒的音樂廳聽最棒的管弦樂隊(duì)演出實(shí)在棒極了。那是我最快樂的時(shí)光。

　　阿美：那次的指揮是誰啊?

　　托德：羅林?馬澤爾。他表現(xiàn)得非常出色。而且，當(dāng)時(shí)他剛剛慶祝了他75歲的生日。

　　阿美：真酷啊。我希望將來有一天我也可以去現(xiàn)場(chǎng)聽新年音樂會(huì)。

　　托德：你一定有機(jī)會(huì)的。你知道，音樂是超越國界的。

　　阿美：這個(gè)我相信。對(duì)了，演出快要開始了，讓我們保持安靜吧。
