　　Recently, the haze weather has increasingly been serious and this phenomenon triggers the widespread concern towards air quality. In my view of the point, the best way to improve air quality is to tax the owner of private car.

　　最近，灰霾的天氣越來越嚴(yán)重，這種現(xiàn)象引起了大眾對(duì)空氣質(zhì)量的關(guān)注。在我看來，改善空氣質(zhì)量最好的辦法是向私家車車主征稅。

　　There are reasons accounting for my view. To begin with, there is no denying that gas emission of private car is a great evil of air pollution.

　　有很多理由可以支持我的觀點(diǎn)。首先，不可否認(rèn)的是私人汽車的尾氣排放是空氣污染的一大罪惡。

　　To tax the owner of private car will make some contribution to cut down gas emission and improve air quality. Furthermore, the tax also has a great impact on decreasing the rate of car’s increase. Those who have a plan to buy a car will take the tax into account and some of them have to give up their plan. If a lot of people can use public transportation instead of private cars, the air quality will not be so rotten. In addition, taxing for private car is also a warning of environment protection. The notion of environment protection will be brought to public again and an increasing number of people will be awake to the importance of air protection and environment protection and make effort to protect it. Finally, the government can use the tax as funds of improving the air quality, which will be a great help to raise fund.

　　Taking above into account, I believe that taxing the owner of private car is the best way to improve air quality. Certainly, we can carry out other methods to improve it at the same time, such as planting trees, developing public transportation and so on. I advocate that all of us should take pains to protect our environment and we will lead a better life.

　　It is reported that thick fog and haze surround many parts of China. People have to wear masks when they go out. As air pollution is getting increasingly worse, it has become the main concern of people.

　　Air pollution can have serious consequences for human’s health and also severely affects natural ecosystems. Millions of people die of illnesses related to air pollution every year. Due to particles from exhaust emissions, green house effects result in warmer weather, acid rains corrode the earth, and frequent haze causes traffic problems.

　　Confronted with such situation, positive measures should be adopted. The government should keep its regulatory role for properly supervision. Related rules should be made out for reducing emissions of new vehicles and limiting high-emission vehicles. Factories should meet standards for curbing emissions of pollutants in surrounding cities. Meanwhile, provinces and municipalities in each target region should set up a mechanism for the joint prevention and control of air pollution.
