Punctuality is a good habit and manner peopleshould have. It means that one should do things on time. In our daily lives, we often make appointments with others, and time is one of the most important matters of appointment. If you are late, you would make others disappointed or even angry, so that it would do harm to your relationship with others. On the contrast, if you are punctual, you must wish others punctual too. When we judge a person, we are likely to think about whether he or she is keeping promises, the person who always keeps his promises is popular, people around him are willing to make friends with him. So keeping promises is very important, we should never break our promises, or we will be abandoned by others. First, we should never late for meeting or date. When we make a deal with others to meet at some places, we shall be there in time or earlier, it is rude to be late and let others wait for a long time. I hate my friends late for meeting, though they have reasons, they could have been here in advance. Second, we’d better think twice before making a promise, if we promise people, it means we have ability to finish it, people are hold great hope on us, if we fail, how disappoint it is. So we should measure ourselves before we making a promise.

However, being punctual is of great benefits, it can consolidate our relationship and improve work efficiency.

Being in time reflects the person is responsible and considerate; we respect him, because he always arrives at the meeting at the right time. We will impress by him and are willing to make friends with him. On the contrary, if the person who is always late for meeting, he will delay everybody’s time, such person is not welcomed.

The other benefit of being punctual is that we can improve work efficiency. If we are told to finish the work in two days, but we are always finishing in 3 days, we will be kicked out.
