考研基英語(yǔ)本句型及語(yǔ)法分析

　　目前階段學(xué)員提交的翻譯問(wèn)題比較多，考研輔導(dǎo)老師給考生總結(jié)了常見(jiàn)的翻譯問(wèn)題，并且這些問(wèn)題是一些基礎(chǔ)的語(yǔ)法問(wèn)題，希望考生引以為鑒，理解以下句子中的基本句型及語(yǔ)法分析：

　　1.In 1995 the CIA held a contest to see who could compile the most data about Burundi. Contest 是不是 to see的邏輯主語(yǔ)who修飾限定的'是contest嗎，修飾限定是幾個(gè)意思，有什么不同嗎？

　　解析：to see是contest的補(bǔ)語(yǔ)，who后引導(dǎo)的是see的賓語(yǔ)從句。修飾是使文字更加生動(dòng)，限定是限制其范圍及界限。

　　2. That kind of electronic spying has been going on for decades.

　　問(wèn)題：1.That kind of electronic spying has been going on for decades.這句話是個(gè)簡(jiǎn)單句還是什么，that是什么，能去掉嗎？has been怎么翻譯，主干是什么？

　　解析：That是指示代詞，has been going on for decades.是現(xiàn)在完成進(jìn)行時(shí)，多年以來(lái)一直…主干是That kind of electronic spying has been going on for decades.

　　3. In the past three or four years, the World Wide Web has given birth to a whole industry of point-and-click spying. 問(wèn)：to是什么，point-and-click看作什么？

　　解析：the World Wide Web has given birth to 這個(gè)to是跟著give birth 這個(gè)搭配的，像point-and-click看作形容詞。

　　4. The spooks call it open source intelligence， and as the Net grows, it is becoming increasingly influential. as怎么理解？那后面it is becoming increasingly influential.又是個(gè)句子中間沒(méi)連接詞是省略了什么。

　　解析：and as the Net grows 是and后面那句話的狀語(yǔ)，插入語(yǔ)是附加說(shuō)明的，去掉后句子依然完整。后面的as在這是隨著的意思。As有好多意思要根據(jù)語(yǔ)境分析到底是那種意思。同時(shí)要積累詞匯中as的用法，只能去多記。主干：The spooks call it open source intelligence and引導(dǎo)的是兩個(gè)獨(dú)立的句子，it is becoming increasingly influential.沒(méi)有省略，是and后的句子的主干。

　　5.Donovan believed in using whatever tools came to hand in the great game of espionage -- spying as a profession.

　　解析：using whatever tools came to hand in the great game of espionage 是believe后整體作賓語(yǔ)，whatever在從句中作主語(yǔ)，came to hand 是從句中的謂語(yǔ)，in the great game of espionage是狀語(yǔ)。as a profession. AS 在這是副詞作為的意思。

　　6.These days the Net, which has already re-made such everyday pastimes as buying books and sending mail, is reshaping Donovan’s vocation as well.

　　問(wèn)：These days the Net 突然糾結(jié)，知道the net是主語(yǔ)，但是為什么用these days，such everyday pastimes as buying books and sending mail,這是such as 的形式還是such……as的形式

　　解析：these days 是時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)，such as 和such……as的形式區(qū)別不大都是例如，像…一樣的意思，后面又is reshaping Donovan’s vocation as well.這里as屬于不同短語(yǔ)，as well是也，同樣的意思。
