中印兩國(guó)的邊界對(duì)峙（border standoff）始于今年4月中旬，印方指責(zé)中國(guó)軍隊(duì)越界進(jìn)入印度領(lǐng)土（trespass on Indian territory），而中方則表示，中國(guó)軍隊(duì)一直致力于維護(hù)邊界地區(qū)的`和平與安寧（peace and tranquility），未曾跨過(guò)印方實(shí)際控制線（the Line of Actual Control）。
