Li Ming and I took part in a wildernesurvival program yesterday,which has become an unforgettable experience.

Yesterday morning we wore strong and comfortable shoes,

carried backpacks with the necessities in them and went to the mountain. We climbed a hill. On the top we saw a direction mark, which told us where to go. Down the hill, we came to a river. There were no boats but we had to croit. Luckily, both of us had learned how to swim. But we shouldn't make our things in the backpacks wet. Seeing a piece of board, I got an idea. We put our backpacks on the board and swam in the water pushing the board. When getting to the other bank, with the compawe found north in which direction we walked half an hour. Finally, we arrived at the campsite. We set up a tent and made a bonfire.

The two of us spent the night in the forest.

We learned to use knowledge gained in classroom training to solve problems. It was quite an experience for both of us, which I'll never forget for the rest of my life.

2.The Telephone

The telephone is one of the most welcome and useful inventions. No wonder more and more families have got to use their own telephones today.

The telephone makes things easy in many ways. Especially, after the mobile telephone appears, communication becomes easier and rapider. To students and people going out for businefar away from their homes, the telephone can shorten the distance between them and their families. Thus they will get comfort whenever they are homesick or they run into trouble. With the help of the telephone, people can keep in touch with anyone at any time and in any place for urgent help.

All in all, the telephone is so helpful that we can say that nowadays we can not live without the telephone in our daily life. We will further improve the performance of the telephone so as to create better conditions for its development.

3.Out of School

Now more and more children in the countryside are out of school. One of the reasons is that their parents haven't much money to afford their school. They have to stay at home to earn money to support their families. What a pity! And another reason is that many parents think it is uselefor girls to study and they would not like them to go to school. On the other hand, some children are not interested in their lessons and would not like to go to school.

I think all the children, including girls, should have the right to receive education. We have the duty to lend them a hand when they are in trouble. All the people should pay attention to the education of children who will play a very important part in the future of our country.

現(xiàn)在，越來越多的農(nóng)村孩子失學(xué)了。一個原因是因?yàn)樗麄兊母改笡]有很多的錢供他們上學(xué)，他們不得不在家里賺錢養(yǎng)家。太可憐了。另外葉個原因就是很多家長都認(rèn)為讀書對女孩子沒用，所以不讓她們讀書。另一方面，一些孩子對功課不感興趣，不愿上學(xué)。

我認(rèn)為所有的孩子(包括女孩)都有權(quán)利接受教育。我們有義務(wù)在他們困難時伸出手來幫助他們。人們應(yīng)當(dāng)重視孩子的教育問題，因?yàn)樗麄儗�國家的未來將起到非常重要的作用�?/p>

Now in the country areas, there are more and more children out of school. The reasons vary. First, many of the parents are too poor to send their children to school and children have to stay at home to get money to support their families. Second, many parents think it uselefor girls to study and they would not like them to go to school. Finally, some children are not interested in their lessons and would not like to go school.

I think children are the future of our country and all the children including girls should have the opportunities to receive education. Knowledge can change the life of a person. I hope more attention will be paid to the solution of the problem, because children will play a very important part in the future of our country.

現(xiàn)在在農(nóng)村，越來越多的孩子失學(xué)了。造成這種情況的原因很多。首先，許多父母太窮了，無法送他們的`孩子上學(xué)，孩子們不得不在家賺錢養(yǎng)家。另外一個原因是很多家長都認(rèn)為讀書對女孩子無用，所以不讓她們讀書。最后一個原因是有些孩子對功課不感興趣，不愿上學(xué)。

我認(rèn)為孩子是國家的未來，所有的孩子(包括女孩)都應(yīng)有機(jī)會接受教育。知識能改變?nèi)说拿�運(yùn)。我希望人們應(yīng)更重視孩子上學(xué)問題的解決，因?yàn)樗麄儗�國家的未來將起到非常重要的作用�?/p>
