　　Suck這個字在美國用的很多，它就是指很爛，很差的意思。 Suck是一個動詞，所以在使用上跟爛這個形容詞是不太一樣的，例如你可以說， That traffic here really sucks!就是說這里的交通糟透了的意思。有時也聽得到人家用suck的形容詞sucky.

　　Suck這個字的原意是指用嘴巴吸的意思，所以有人就設計了這么一個吸果凍的比賽。規(guī)則很簡單，就是不能用手，只能用嘴巴把果凍吸光。

　　要是She is a turn-on,那就表示你對她蠻有興趣的。此外， turn-on跟turn-off也可以當成一種個人喜好上的標準，比如說徵友吧，你說，我不想要低于160 cm的，則低于160就是你的turn-off,也等于What's not.如果說我喜歡住在美國的，那"住在美國"就是你的turn-on.另也有人說把turn-on說成What's hot.把turn off說成What's not.大家可以看情況自行運用。Turn on當成動詞的時候也非常普遍，你可以說， The movie totally turns me on或是she turns me on.

　　3.You are mean. 你很壞。

　　Mean這個字當形容詞可以有二種解釋，一種是指別人很壞，這種壞并不是說是壞人的壞，而是像有時候男生喜歡耍貧嘴，虧女孩子，這種行為你就可以說他， You are so mean.

　　另外一種mean則是解釋成"賤".就是指它的行為很讓人瞧不起，比如說吧！有一只貓，你拿東西給它吃，它就過來跟你親熱，你沒東西給它吃它就躲的遠遠的，這樣的行為你就可以用mean來形容。你可以說The cat is so mean.

　　有時候mean在口語中也可以當成cool的意思喔！例如別人看到一輛很拉風的跑車，他說， "Wow, look at that car, that is mean!"在這里不可能說一部車很賤，以這個mean就是當成cool來解釋。

　　最后介紹幾種表示對某事不滿意抱怨的句子：

　　3. is that all?就這些嗎？

　　1.You're so stupid. 真是愚蠢。

　　Stupid這個字很好用，它含有輕視，不以為然的味道在里面，比如說考試題目出的很爛，你就可以說， that's a stupid test.或是有人在冬天的時候提議去游泳，你的反應大概就會是， That's a stupid idea.

　　個人覺得stupid不單只是笨的意思，還有愚蠢的味道在里面。中文里說：

　　2.You scared/frightened me! 你嚇到我了。

　　被驚嚇到時就是這么說的，或是也可以說，I am scared.此外，自己被嚇到你也可以說，I am scared或是I am frightened.

　　Scare跟frightene的意思完全相同，可以隨便選一個來用。

　　3.He is shaky. 他不太可靠。

　　Shaky是指動搖不穩(wěn)定，不太確定，通常就是指一個人不太可靠。另外Shaky也可以用來形容數據，像是在課常上說，The data is shaky,就是說這些data怪怪的，不太可靠。 Shaky另外有一個慣用法， He has a shaky start.就是說有人要上臺報告準備卻不夠充份，以致一上去就開始緊張，冒冷汗，不知所云，這種情況老美就會說， He has a shaky start.或是另一個很意思很接近的說法， "He has a bumpy ride."
