Before it, people usually give their house a thorough cleaning and do a lot of shopping. On the New Year’s Eve, people come home and the whole family have a big dinner together.
On the New Year’s Day and the few days to follow, people often visit their relatives and friends to give one another their best wishes for the New year. Throughout this festival period firecrackers can be heard everywhere. This festival is the most important festival for the Chinese.

拿我來(lái)說(shuō)，小學(xué)三年級(jí)開始學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)，可是我現(xiàn)在的英語(yǔ)水平也不高。小學(xué)英語(yǔ)大部分是八十分以上，中學(xué)時(shí)在六十以上七十以下，高中時(shí)一般都是沒(méi)有上過(guò)六十，下過(guò)五十，只有少量幾次我的成績(jī)突破了這個(gè)瓶頸，就連五十九分也不知道考了多少次！
你說(shuō)，我的英語(yǔ)人生是不是一個(gè)悲劇！
以前，總是隨著所有人都是在背單詞，我的.記憶力很強(qiáng)，記憶單詞從來(lái)沒(méi)有是問(wèn)題，可是要去寫一句簡(jiǎn)單的句子就是困難重重。高中時(shí)期，我的英語(yǔ)老師也不會(huì)去管學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)，課文內(nèi)容從未背過(guò)，所以一直以來(lái)英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)成績(jī)也沒(méi)有提高，這也是老師的一個(gè)問(wèn)題，就拿高一學(xué)生來(lái)說(shuō)，他們學(xué)習(xí)的刻苦程度比我們班高三學(xué)生們都要強(qiáng)，你說(shuō)這樣的情況下成績(jī)會(huì)好嗎？
高三前期我聽說(shuō)了一個(gè)方法，就是放棄背單詞，而去選擇背句子，這個(gè)方法的確很好，我的成績(jī)還是提高了！放假了，我決定努力背單詞一個(gè)月，結(jié)果就是成績(jī)一次不如一次，傷心欲絕啊！我重新回到過(guò)去背句子的時(shí)期，成績(jī)這才開始恢復(fù)正常情況。
努力背句子是我提高英語(yǔ)水平的經(jīng)驗(yàn)，不過(guò)前提是堅(jiān)持下去！
