高中英語寫作技巧之并列句

1．聯(lián)合關系
由并列連詞and或not only...but also...連接的兩個分句。
Work hard and you will succeed sooner or later.
努力工作，遲早你會成功的。
(2013·天津卷滿分作文)First，my English is very good and I’m openminded and warmhearted，so I’m getting well with everyone.
首先，我的英語很好，而且我性格外向、有一副熱心腸，因此我和每個人都相處得很好。
(2013·江西卷滿分作文)It not only gave us a chance to get close to nature，but also gave us relaxation from our study.
它不僅給了我們接近大自然的機會，而且能讓我們在學習之余得到放松。
2．轉折關系
多用連詞but，yet，while等連接兩個分句。
(2013·四川卷書面表達)Good habits always lead to high efficiency，while bad ones lead to the opposite.
好的習慣經常使得效率增高，而不好的習慣效果恰恰相反。
(2012·陜西卷書面表達)Ms Li spent a wonderful time with us，but we know that we cannot thank her enough for all her hard work and guidance.李老師和我們度過了一段快樂的時光，但我們知道對她所有的付出和指導再怎么感謝也不為過。
3．選擇關系
主要由連詞or(或者;否則)，either...or...(要么……要么……)，otherwise(要不然)，not...but...不是……而是……等連詞連接。
(2013·新課標全國卷Ⅱ書面表達)People can either give them as gifts or hang them in their houses.
人們可以把他們當做禮物，或者掛在自己的房子里。
(2013·重慶卷滿分作文)So，from now on，let’s not waste our time on unimportant things buthave a hearttoheart chat with our parents once in a while.
因此，從現(xiàn)在起，讓我們不要在一些不重要的事情上浪費時間，而要經常與我們的父母進行面對面的交流。
4．因果關系
多用連詞for和so連接。
He told me to do it，so I did it.
他讓我這樣做，于是我就這樣做了。
5．時間關系
由并列連詞when連接兩個分句，表示“就在這時突然……”。
(2013·浙江卷滿分作文)Last Monday，I was walking in the street when I suddenly saw an old man fall off his bicycle.
上周一，我正在街上散步，這時突然看到一位老人從自行車上摔了下來。
