　　青年奧林匹克運動會是專為全世界青年人設立的綜合體育賽事。第二屆夏季青年奧林匹克運動會于2014年8月16日至28日在南京舉行。本屆青奧會的口號是“分享青春 共筑未來”;寓意全世界青年人在奧林匹克精神感召下，歡聚一堂，相互切磋，相互鼓勵，增進友誼，共同成長。吉祥物創(chuàng)意來自雨花石，意為提倡自然、運動、健康、快樂的生活方式;會徽將南京明城墻城門和江南民居輪廓組合在一起，勾勒出“NANJING”字樣，寓意青春之門。
