看上了如何用英語表達(dá)

　　那天和一個同事去逛街，無意間看中了一雙涼鞋，錢沒帶夠，于是對我的同事說"Can you spot me?"還好，有帶米米哦她，于是順利買下，這幾天穿的也舒服哦！

　　I saw a pair of shoes in the shop window and it caught my fancy immediately, so I bought it.

　　我看見商店櫥窗里的一雙鞋子，立刻覺得很合心意，就買了下來。

　　1. to catch/take one's fancy

　　to catch/take one's fancy的意思是“合意”或“中意”（please or attract sb），即“讓人看上”，其邏輯主語應(yīng)該是“被看上的人或物”。和這個習(xí)語相近的還有一個表達(dá)：to be one's liking/taste。

　　請看例句：

　　1. The girl named Mary has caught his fancy.

　　那個叫瑪麗的女孩很中他的意。

　　2. He looked through the hotel advertisements until one of them took his fancy.

　　他查遍旅館廣告，直到有一家中了他的意。

　　3. Was the meal to your liking, madam?

　　飯菜合您的意嗎，夫人？

　　4. This jacket is just to my taste.

　　這件夾克正好中我的意。

　　如果“看中”、“看上”和“相中”等表示“經(jīng)過選擇而合意或滿意”，那么英語可以譯為to take a fancy to或to take a liking to等，其邏輯主語是“看上別人或物的人”。意思是：to start liking someone or wanting something very much.

　　請看例句：

　　1. It would be fine if that man should take a fancy to me.

　　It would be nice if that man took a liking to me.

　　那個男的如果能看上我就好了。

　　2. I think I've taken a fancy to you.

　　我想我看上你了。

　　“看中”等還表示“經(jīng)過深思熟慮而決定選擇”。此時英語可以譯為to settle on, to choose, to make a choice of等。如：

　　In the shop, she settled on a red dress.

　　她在商店看上一件紅色女裝。

　　2. a flight of fancy

　　A flight of fancy means unrealistic idea, etc that exists only in sb's mind.也就是懸想；異想天開；想入非非。還可以說a flight of fancy/fantasy/imagination。

　　請看例句：

　　Her latest flight of fancy is to go camping in the Sahara desert!

　　她最近心血來潮想到撒哈拉沙漠去野營！

　　You were talking about cycling across the China, or was that just another flight of fancy?

　　你說你要騎車游遍全中國，還是這只是你的另一個異想天開。
