I am in primary school now, I have many lessons to learn from Monday to Friday, my favorite subject is English. Last week, my English teacher gave us a task, she asked us to make the presentation of our favorite English celebrity. I chose Avril Lavigne, she is my favorite singer, I have listened to her songs for many years.
When I presented the singer, many of my classmates clapped their hands, because they like her, too. Then we share many things about Avril, I felt so happy in that class, it is so interesting, we talked happily, we share our common interest. I will never forget about that class, it causes my passion to learn English.

Last Friday, we had an exceptionally enjoyable and educational class – a science experiment session that left everyone in awe and excitement. Our teacher, Ms. Li, had planned a series of fascinating experiments to illustrate the principles of physics and chemistry in a hands-on way.
The class began with a demonstration of the classic "Volcano Eruption" experiment. Ms. Li mixed baking soda with vinegar in a plastic bottle, simulating the magma inside a volcano. As soon as the two substances combined, a foamy, fizzy liquid erupted out of the bottles neck, which we had decorated to resemble a volcano. The class erupted in laughter and cheers, marveling at the chemical reaction that created such a dramatic effect.
Next, we moved to the "Electricity and Magnetism" station. Using simple materials like wires, batteries, and a small compass, we learned how to create an electromagnetic field. It was amazing to see the compass needle spinning around when placed near the wire carrying current. This experiment not only demonstrated Faradays law of electromagnetic induction but also sparked curiosity about how electricity powers our daily lives.
The highlight of the day came when we conducted the "Rainbow in a Bottle" experiment. By shining a flashlight through a prism into a spray of water, we created a beautiful spectrum of colors on the wall, mimicking a rainbow. This visual display helped us understand the concept of light dispersion and the role prisms play in splitting white light into its component colors.
Each experiment was followed by a lively discussion where we shared our observations and theories. Ms. Li encouraged us to ask questions and think critically, making the learning process interactive and engaging. By the end of the class, we not only had a deeper understanding of scientific concepts but also a renewed appreciation for the wonders of the natural world.
This science experiment class was truly a memorable experience that combined fun with learning, fostering a love for science within each of us.

On Tuesday afternoon, our English class transformed into an exciting journey through different cultures, thanks to Mrs. Wangs innovative teaching style. She had arranged for us to participate in a "Global Culture Day," where we explored the traditions, festivals, and languages of various countries around the world.
The class was divided into groups, each representing a different country. My group was assigned to Japan. We spent weeks preparing, researching everything from traditional clothing (kimono) to famous festivals (like Obon). On the day of the event, we dressed up in kimonos, complete with fans and hairpins, and presented a short skit about Obon, explaining its significance as a time to honor ancestors and celebrate the spirits of deceased loved ones.
Other groups showcased equally fascinating aspects of their assigned countries. The Spain group taught us how to say basic greetings in Spanish and demonstrated a traditional Flamenco dance. The Italy group prepared delicious homemade pizzas and shared stories about Venices Carnival. Even the France group brought croissants and taught us the basics of French cuisine.
To make the experience even more immersive, Mrs. Wang had set up a "World Market" corner where we could exchange homemade crafts or snacks representing our cultures. It was a delightful way to learn about each others traditions while practicing our English communication skills.
The class concluded with a reflection session where we discussed what we had learned and how it had broadened our perspectives. Many of us realized that despite our differences, we share many similarities and can learn from each others cultures.
This English culture class was not just about learning vocabulary or grammar; it was a bridge connecting us to the diverse and beautiful world we live in. It sparked our interest in exploring more about other cultures and fostered a sense of global citizenship within us.
